The Very First Release Ready Packet

Updated: Mar 9

They say every great business has a story, and mine started with a simple request and a bit of flattery (the best kind of motivation, if you ask me). When my cousin Jason asked me to create his parole packet, I thought, “Sure, how hard can it be?” But there was more to it than just helping out family. Jason’s daughter, Lacey, missed her dad terribly, and knowing that this packet could help bring them back together was all the motivation I needed.

Turns out, Jason’s packet didn’t just impress the parole board, it became the talk of the unit. I’m still not sure if it was the heartfelt letters, the well-organized sections, or just the fact that I managed to make his life story sound like the comeback of the century. Either way, the feedback was unanimous: “Best parole packet we’ve ever seen.”

Jason, never one to miss an opportunity, quickly pointed out that I might be onto something. In fact, he might have oversold my skills just a bit (thanks, Jason). But the idea stuck, and that’s how Release Ready was born.

Of course, turning that idea into a real business took a lot more than just a few compliments. It meant hours of research, learning everything there is to know about the parole process, and perfecting a system that actually works. That’s when we discovered something surprising: most attorneys and parole packet services weren’t actually writing the letters or creating the plans themselves. Instead, they were saving the hard part for the customers while charging exorbitant fees to put together some documents.

We knew we could do better. At Release Ready, we handle everything- from writing compelling letters to designing personalized release plans so you don’t have to. When you work with us, you can rest easy knowing every detail is taken care of by experts who genuinely care about getting it right.

So here we are. Whether you’re here for a parole packet, some tips, or just a good story, welcome to Release Ready! Stick around- there’s more to come.
